シンプルかつ深くモダンな優れたデザイン力に、鎮魂や人間の在り様など社会性を持ちつづけ表現している姿勢、多くの若い作家を育てあげたことが評価された

1978年    世界クラフト会議・日本イラストコンペ美術出版社賞受賞

1981年    「ファエンツア国際陶芸展」受賞
1983年    「荒木高子と2人展」(サンフランシスコ）
1984年    「国際陶芸展」（CERAMICS×27）（ブダペスト）
1994年    滋賀県陶芸の森招聘講師となる
